Is QuillBot considered cheating?

Using it to reword someone else's work to avoid plagiarism detection is academic misconduct at most institutions, and detectors identify paraphrased text well. Using it to tighten your own writing generally is not — but check your institution's policy, because they differ.

Is there a free alternative to both?

Can I use both together?
